Yes. Roomor uses the internet when you have it, talks directly to phones on the same Wi-Fi when there's no internet, and passes messages phone to phone over Bluetooth when there's no network at all. It switches on its own, so you don't have to do anything. Keep Bluetooth on for the phone to phone part.

Public rooms show up for phones in the same area. Make sure location is on for Roomor in your phone's settings, then pull down on Nearby to refresh. If nobody nearby has opened a room yet, start one.

Ask the person who started it for its six character code, or scan their QR code. On Nearby, tap Join a private room with a code and type it in.

You pick them when you join a room, and they last for that room. Leave the room and join it again to pick new ones. Nobody in a room can share the same critter in the same color.

Tap their critter or their name. Block for me hides them right away, and only you know. Report sends the message to us for review. In rooms with 5 or more people, you can start a vote to remove them.

Every room has a language rating. Family safe masks swear words and crude words, PG masks strong ones, and Adult 18+ masks nothing. Whoever started the room picked it.

Public rooms close an hour after the last person leaves. Family, Friends and Private rooms close after 2 days, unless whoever started them chose Keep this room.

On your phone. The server only holds messages for a day so people can catch up. Leaving a room deletes its history from your phone.

Open Settings in Roomor and tap Delete my data. It removes your phone from every room and deletes what our server holds for it. Reports are kept for 90 days so they can still be reviewed.
